A Good Poet : - )

I like John Keats' view of life . Among the Romantics , he is my favorite ! He tries to forget his manly character and identify himself as a real poet (Keats The Poet ) . So he can see the true beauty of nature :

Away! Away ! for I will fly to thee,
Not charioted by Bacchus and his pards,
But on the viewless wings of Poesy .

Somewhere esle he looks at an imaginary urn and finds the most beautiful things on it .

O Attic shape ! Fair attitude ! with brede
Of marble men and maidens overwrought,
With forest branches and the trodden weed;
Thou silent form, dost tease us out of thought

He lived a very short life . Just twenty four , and imagine how greater he could be had he lived longer . Well , he could be as old as our gaga literature professor , if he was still alive ! :))

Are you intrested in Wilde?

The Grave of Keats(Author:Oscar Wilde)

1]Rid of the world's injustice,and his pain,
2]He rests at last beneath God's veil of blue.
3]Taken from life when life and love were new
4]The youngest of the martyrs here is lain,
5]Fair as Sebastian, and as early slain.
6]No cypress shades his grave,no funeral yew,
7]But gentle violets weeping with the dew
8]weave on his bones an ever-blossoming chain

9]O proudest heart that broke for misery!
10]O sweetest lips since those of Mitylene!
11]Poet-painter of our English Land!
12]Thy name was writ in water---it shall stand:
13]And tears like mine will keep thy memory green,
14]As Isabella did her Basil-tree.
